Today being the Feast of the Holy Family my reflection is centered on the responsibility we have towards our next generation. The Bible records in Deuteronomy 6:4-5, a cornerstone teaching about the monotheistic essence of God to the Israelites by Moses.

Last week I started a reflection on Our Lady and Opposition against her which I promised to conclude this week. As mentioned in the opening paragraphs I am motivated to share this reflection during this season of Advent when we await in joyful hope for the birth of Jesus by Our Blessed Mother Mary.

As we begin our preparation for Christmas, which is centered on the mystery of Incarnation, God coming in human form to be one of us through the virgin’s birth. I wish to share my reflection on some opposition to Our Blessed Mother Mary.

It is with delight that I welcome you to the Church’s new year as we begin the New Church’s liturgical year. We are now in Year C for the Sunday readings, and on that note, I say Happy New Year to you, all my beloved parishioners.

In this week’s Pastor’s Corner, I reflect on the responsibilities we owe both our civil and religious leaders. This is very important as our prayers and goodwill go a long way to help them do the will of God for which they have been charged. From the beginning of the world, God himself showed that leadership has a key stake in the grand scheme of his creation.
